The ServiceTitan Summer 2025 release contains several new features and feature updates that impact Technicians.

Titan Intelligence

  • Use field assistant to give technicians fast answers without calling dispatchers, now generally available: Before, technicians had to stop work to ask questions about job history, memberships, or equipment. Now, field assistant uses AI to pull job info, estimates, and more from ServiceTitan—right from a chat on the mobile app. That means shorter job times, fewer dispatcher interruptions, and more chances to upsell with better info.

    Note: field assistant was previously known as FieldAssist.

Roofing

  • Get fast, accurate roofing quotes with the new Hover Integration, now in Early Access: Before, you had to leave ServiceTitan to request exterior job measurements and manually re-enter them into estimates. Now, raw data from Hover flows directly into the spec-based proposal workflow, saving time and reducing errors.

Payments

  • Take payments faster with the new Tap-to-Pay multi-device experience: Now, when you hit Tap-to-Pay on an iPad, you'll get a QR code to scan. Before, you had to log into your phone, find the invoice again, and switch devices manually. With this update, your iPhone opens the payment screen directly with no extra logins or delays. Additionally, Adyen Tap-to-Pay is coming soon to the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App.

    Note: Tap to Pay on Mobile is subject to processor availability and the terms and conditions set forth on your order form. Tap to Pay is currently only available in the US.

Payments

  • Store cards and issue refunds with Tap To Pay to speed up payments and improve your workflow: Before, you couldn't store cards or issue refunds with TSYS Tap To Pay. Now, you can use NFC-enabled devices to save payment info directly to the customer profile. You can also issue refunds without switching to the PayEngine portal.

    Note: This is only available for TSYS Tap to Pay and is expected to be in Early Access by end of August.

  • Boost job wins and ticket sizes with new Financing options in the Proposal Builder: Before, the proposal builder didn't include financing. Now you can show estimated monthly payments and submit financing applications right from the proposal, giving homeowners more flexible payment choices.

  • Speed up payments and boost digital adoption with the new Dynamic Checkout feature for technicians: Before, the Payment screen showed options in random order and didn't suggest the best method. Now, Dynamic Checkout recommends and pre-selects the most optimal payment option, reducing friction during the job wrap-up.

ServiceTitan Academy

  • Get more training power with the new Academy Integration, built to improve your learning experience, now generally available: The new Academy, powered by an upgraded learning platform, delivers a simplified training experience in both Academy and TitanAdvisor.

    Note: Incomplete training won't transfer—make sure to finish it by September 3, 2025; completed training will carry over. Everyone will be fully moved to the new system on September 11, 2025.
