See linked CRM opportunities directly on your service agreements

This enhancement shows the ServiceTitan CRM (STCRM) opportunity linked to each service agreement right where you already work: on the service agreement, on the Follow Up screen, in service agreement reporting, and through the API. It also keeps the Account Manager field on a new agreement in sync with the customer's assigned account manager. Note: The ServiceTitan CRM is in Early Access and available to select accounts.

What's changing

Today, an account manager who wants to know which sales opportunity produced a service agreement has to leave the agreement and look it up in ServiceTitan CRM, and service agreement reports have no opportunity fields to match against.

With this enhancement, the ServiceTitan CRM opportunity appears directly on the Service Agreement Follow Up screen and in the service agreements reporting dataset, the opportunity carries over when an agreement is duplicated, the Account Manager field fills in automatically when an agreement is created from a customer or location record, and the same opportunity references are returned in the service agreements application programming interface (API) responses.

Workflow comparison — before & after

← Before
✓ After
1.Open the Service Agreement Follow Up screen to review agreements due for renewal.
1.Open the Service Agreement Follow Up screen and view the new Opportunity column, shown after the Created On column.
2.To find the sales opportunity behind an agreement, leave the screen and search ServiceTitan CRM separately.
2.Select an opportunity link to open it in ServiceTitan CRM in a new tab.
3.Build a service agreement report that has no opportunity fields, then match records by hand.
3.Add the Opportunity ID and Opportunity Name KPIs to the service agreements dataset to report and filter by opportunity.
4.Assign an account manager to each new agreement manually.
4.Create an agreement from a customer or location record and the Account Manager fills in from that record automatically.
⚠ Connecting agreements to their originating opportunities takes extra steps and manual cross-referencing.
✓ Your team sees the opportunity behind every agreement in one place and reports on it without manual matching.

How it works for your industry

Commercial Service and Replacement
  • A commercial service company links a rooftop unit (RTU) maintenance agreement to an STCRM opportunity during the sale. The account manager opens the Service Agreements Follow Up screen, sees the opportunity name beside the agreement, and selects it to review deal notes before the renewal call.
  • An operations lead duplicates a multi-site maintenance agreement for a similar property. The opportunity link copies to the new agreement, so reporting stays tied to the original deal.

How to prepare

01Confirm your company uses both Service Agreements and ServiceTitan CRM (STCRM). The linked opportunity appears only when both are in use. STCRM is currently in Early Access and available to select accounts.
02Identify which service agreements are commonly linked to STCRM opportunities so your team knows where to expect the new visibility.
03Confirm the Account Manager field is set correctly on your customer and location records, since new agreements now inherit it automatically.
