What's changing
Before, if you already had a measurement report, ordered before you started using ServiceTitan, or from a supplier, there was no way to bring that report into ServiceTitan. You had to manually re-key the measurements. Now, you can import an existing report directly into the measurements table on a job or location, either by pulling it from a connected provider (GAF QuickMeasure, EagleView, or Hover) or by uploading the file from your device.

How it works for your industry
Roofing and Exteriors
- A roofing office employee inherits a job where the homeowner already had an EagleView report ordered by a previous contractor. Instead of re-ordering, the office employee imports that report directly into the measurements table.
- A CSR is onboarding a new roofing account that already has a stack of GAF QuickMeasure reports from before the switch to ServiceTitan. The CSR imports each report so the estimate can be built without waiting on new orders.
- A production manager gets a PDF and JSON measurement file emailed from a supplier who ran the measurement outside ServiceTitan. The production manager uploads both files directly from their device into the job's measurements table.
How to prepare
01Have an administrator confirm your existing roofing measurement integrations and any prerequisite configurations are enabled. This feature extends that same configuration, so no new setup is required if you already use GAF QuickMeasure, EagleView, or Hover ordering.
02Confirm the two new permissions, Order measurements and Upload measurements, are set the way you want for each role. Both are turned on by default so nobody's access changes unexpectedly.
03Identify any jobs or locations with measurement reports ordered outside ServiceTitan that could be imported instead of re-ordered.
04Train office staff on the new Import option in the measurements table, including when to use a connected provider versus a device upload.
