This new feature adds Affirm as a financing partner in ServiceTitan, so technicians can offer financing payment options directly from an online estimate and homeowners can split the cost of a job into smaller monthly payments.
What's new?
This feature gives homeowners an additional built-in financing option in ServiceTitan. Affirm is particularly helpful in financing smaller ticket sizes (under $1,000) where existing financing options are limited or have higher rates. Administrators can enable Affirm as a financing provider and set the estimate range where Affirm will appear — by default, estimates between $100 and $3,000. Technicians send online estimates that include an "as low as" monthly payment amount powered by Affirm. Homeowners tap a link, pre-qualify for financing, and pay the invoice from their phone through the customer portal.
Note: Affirm financing is currently in Early Access and available for select accounts. If you're interested in joining the Early Access for Affirm financing, please contact your Fintech representative.

Before and After
Before (Current)
A technician presents a $1,000 water heater replacement estimate and sends it to the homeowner by text or email.
The online estimate shows the total cost with no financing option.
The homeowner asks about paying over time. The technician has no option to offer and must direct them to arrange financing elsewhere.
Impact: Homeowners who cannot pay upfront may decline the job, and the technician leaves without a close.
After
An administrator enables Affirm in Settings and confirms the estimate threshold for the business unit (default: $100–$3,000).
A technician sends an online estimate for a $1,000 water heater replacement. The homeowner receives a text or email showing the total and "as low as $X/month with Affirm."
The homeowner taps the link, pre-qualifies for Affirm financing on their phone, and pays the online invoice through the customer portal.
The technician and office team view the application status and funding details in the financing dashboard in ServiceTitan.
Impact: Homeowners who cannot cover the full cost upfront can now finance the job on the spot, helping technicians close more jobs at full price.

How it works for your industry
Residential Service and Replacement
An HVAC technician arrives for a furnace replacement quoted at $2,400. When the technician sends the online estimate, the homeowner sees the Affirm "as low as" monthly option and pre-qualifies before the technician leaves the driveway.
A plumber sends a $1,500 water heater estimate by text. The homeowner pre-qualifies for Affirm financing from the notification on their phone and pays the online invoice the same day, with no follow-up call needed.
A technician is on a job where the homeowner was hesitant about the cost. The Affirm monthly payment option in the estimate helps the homeowner commit on the same visit instead of asking for time to think it over.
Residential Construction
A remodeling company sends a progress billing estimate to a homeowner for $2,800 worth of work. The "as low as" Affirm messaging in the online estimate helps the homeowner understand their payment options before approving the next phase.
A construction project manager sends a final punch-list invoice within the Affirm estimate range. The homeowner pays via Affirm financing from the customer portal instead of waiting to arrange a bank transfer.
A new construction tenant uses Affirm to help homeowners close out project invoices when homeowners prefer to spread the remaining balance across monthly payments.

Review which business units should have Affirm active and confirm the estimate threshold settings (default: $100–$3,000 per estimate).
Train technicians on how the "as low as" messaging appears on online estimates and what homeowners will experience when they pre-qualify.
Align with your office team on how to check application status and funding details in the financing dashboard so they know where to look after a homeowner applies.
