What's changing?
Before, when you had unassigned jobs in the Jobs Tray, you had to open a multi-step reschedule flow to place each job on a technician's timeline. That meant extra clicks and more chances to miss the right time slot. After this change, you can click a job in the Jobs Tray and drop it straight onto a technician on the Dispatch Board, using the visual timeline as your guide while you work.
Resources
Before and After
Before (Current)
Go to the Dispatch Board in ServiceTitan.
Open the Jobs Tray to see unassigned work.
Select a job and start the reschedule flow.
Search for a technician and time, then confirm the reschedule.
Repeat for each job you want to place on the board.
Impact: More clicks per job, slower dispatch during busy times, and a higher chance of picking the wrong technician or time slot.
Try the current workflow in your account.
After
Go to the Dispatch Board in ServiceTitan.
Open the Jobs Tray to see unassigned work.
Select Click-to-drop for a job in the Jobs Tray.
Click the spot on a technician's timeline where you want that job to land.
Repeat the click-to-drop action to place the rest of your unassigned jobs.
Impact: Fewer clicks, faster clean-up of the Jobs Tray, and better alignment between the job, the technician, and the open time on the timeline.
