Manage company-wide job tray tabs for your whole team
Administrators can now build and manage a shared set of job tray tabs that every dispatcher sees, so every dispatcher starts from the same, well-organized view of their work.
What's changing
Before, each dispatcher had to build their own job tray tabs from scratch. Now, an administrator with the right permission can create company-wide tabs, with names, columns, column order, and filters set once, and set the default order and visibility for everyone. These company tabs reach every dispatcher's job tray the next time they refresh the screen. Dispatchers still keep full control: if a dispatcher changes a company tab, ServiceTitan saves that as their own personal version, and their version stays in place until they choose to reset it back to the company version. The job type filter on any tab, company or personal, can now also match more than one job type at a time.
Workflow comparison — before & after
How it works for your industry
Residential Service and Replacement
- A residential plumbing company sets up a company-wide Emergency calls tab with the right columns and filters already configured, so every new dispatcher sees it on day one instead of building it themselves.
- An administrator changes the default tab order company-wide to put Unassigned first. Every dispatcher sees that new order on their next refresh, unless they have already customized their own order.
- A dispatcher who prefers a different column layout on the On hold tab personalizes it. Their version stays in place even after the administrator later updates the company version.
Commercial Service and Replacement
- A commercial HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) provider builds a company tab filtered to preventive maintenance (PM) job types, so every dispatcher working commercial accounts sees the same prioritized queue.
- An administrator hides an unused system tab company-wide to reduce clutter for a large dispatch team. Dispatchers who had already customized that tab keep their own version.
- A dispatcher managing multiple large accounts selects more than one job type at once on a tab filter, instead of switching between single-job-type tabs.
Residential Construction
- A residential construction company sets a company default tab order that puts Scheduled today first, so every dispatcher opens to the same starting view each morning.
- An administrator builds a company-wide tab for warranty callbacks with the right columns pre-set, saving each dispatcher from building it individually.
- A dispatcher personalizes the company Unassigned tab to add an extra column. That personal version stays in place until they choose to reset it.
Commercial Construction
- An administrator standardizes tab visibility across a large commercial dispatch team so every dispatcher, including new hires, sees the same set of tabs from day one.
- A dispatcher filters a company tab by several job types at once to track multiple concurrent project phases.
- An administrator updates a company tab's columns. Dispatchers who never touched that tab automatically see the updated version on their next refresh.
