What's changing?

The Global Search field in ServiceTitan was originally designed for desktop, which could feel tight on smaller screens like phones or tablets. With this improvement, Search now adapts to phones and tablets. On small screens it opens in a full screen view so results and details are easier to see. A clear Cancel button at the top lets you close search with one tap. Action icons are always visible and sized for touch instead of relying on hover. Breadcrumbs wrap so they stay readable, and extra controls such as categories and quick actions hide on mobile so there is more room for search results.

Before and After

Before (Current)

  1. On a phone, sign in to ServiceTitan and open Global Search.

  2. The Search window opens in the middle of the page in a desktop style layout.

  3. You try to tap action icons that only appear when you hover with a mouse.

  4. You scroll and pinch to read breadcrumbs and results and may use the browser Back control to exit search.

Impact: Mobile search takes longer and can cause missed actions.

After

  1. On a phone, sign in to ServiceTitan and open Global Search.

  2. Search opens as a full screen view tuned for mobile.

  3. You see a clear Cancel control at the top so you can close search with one tap.

  4. Action icons are always visible and sized for tapping, breadcrumbs wrap, and extra filters hide so results fill the screen.

Impact: Mobile search is faster and clearer and helps you act on records without hunting for controls.
