Get notified in ServiceTitan CRM when a lead or opportunity is assigned to you
Lead Assigned and Opportunity Assigned are two new notification types in ServiceTitan CRM that tell you the moment a lead or an opportunity becomes yours, on the channel you choose. These notifications are in Private Preview and available to select accounts.
What's new
Before, ServiceTitan CRM told you when a task was assigned to you, but nothing told you when you were made the owner of a lead or an opportunity. No setting existed and no notification was sent, so an assigned record sat untouched until the next time you opened ServiceTitan CRM. Now two new notification types, Lead Assigned and Opportunity Assigned, appear on the My Notifications screen. Turn each one on and choose where it arrives: in ServiceTitan, by mobile push, or by email. When someone sets you as the owner of a lead or an opportunity, the notification reaches you on the channels you chose and names the record, and you can select it to open that record. Assigning a lead or an opportunity to yourself does not send a notification, because only assignment to someone else does.
Workflow comparison — before & after
How it works for your industry
Commercial Service and Replacement
- A heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) account manager gets a mobile push the moment a rooftop unit (RTU) replacement lead is assigned to them, and calls the property manager before leaving the site they are already on.
- A commercial plumbing sales manager splits inbound leads across three representatives and stops sending a separate message for each one, because every representative is told directly.
- A service manager opening the pipeline on Monday finds no leads sitting in New status from Friday, because the assigned owner was told on Friday.
Commercial Construction
- An electrical estimator is assigned an opportunity for a multi-building site and opens it straight from the email notification, so scoping starts the same day.
- A garage door sales coordinator assigns bid opportunities to two estimators, and each estimator sees only their own assignment without working from a shared list.
- A project developer who hands an opportunity to a colleague before a site walk knows the colleague has been told, so the handoff does not depend on a follow-up call.
