This new feature brings consistent financial logic and customizable settings to the Customer Profile page, helping explain balances and aging more clearly.

What's new?

Previously, key balance fields like "Balance Due" and "Available Credit" appeared in separate areas with little explanation, making it hard to reconcile what a customer owed. Now, the Customer Profile page includes a new summary section with standardized terms (Open Invoices, Unapplied Credit, Customer Balance) and built-in tooltips. You can also view the Profit field on the Customer Profile page. A new setting lets you control how unapplied credits affect aging buckets. These updates help eliminate confusion for office teams and customers alike.

Before (Current)

  1. Go to the Customer Profile.

  2. See separate boxes for balance and credit with limited logic explanations.

  3. No control over how unapplied credits or adjustments affect balances.

After

  1. Join the waitlist to get access.

  2. After enablement, go to Settings > Invoicing > Payment Collections.

  3. Toggle on options to:

  4. Include unapplied credits in aging buckets

  5. View the updated Customer Summary section with standardized fields and tooltips.
