What's changing?
You can now create and apply tags to technician profiles, such as Installer, Senior Tech, Residential, or Commercial. You can also apply tags to jobs. Dispatch Pro will use these tags, along with skills and zones, to determine eligible technicians for manual or automated assignment. A new Generate Tech Tags button in Settings helps you set up and manage tags.

How it works for your industry
Residential Service and Replacement
Tag technicians as Residential and Senior Tech. When a complex system replacement comes in, use those tags to narrow the list of eligible technicians.
Apply an Installer tag to technicians who handle changeouts. Dispatch Pro uses the tag to guide assignment.
Use tags with existing skills to match the right technician for high-value repair calls.
Commercial Service and Replacement
Tag technicians as Commercial and Installer. When a large rooftop unit (RTU) job is created, apply matching tags to the job.
Dispatch Pro filters technicians based on tags, skills, and zones to show who qualifies.
As your team grows, use tags to group technicians by specialty without changing your entire skills setup.
