What's new

Before this release, checking on business performance meant opening ServiceTitan on a desktop, finding the right report, and reading the cut of the data that report was built for. If the cut you needed did not exist, you went back to your laptop or asked someone to pull it for you. Now you can download the Atlas mobile app, sign in with your ServiceTitan username and password, and ask Atlas how the business is doing in plain language. Atlas answers with the number, the comparison that gives it meaning, and a breakdown by job, technician, or business unit.

Beyond chat, the app includes a metric dashboard with the KPIs owners check most — revenue, booking rate, average ticket, leads, campaign performance, and service agreements — comparable to the prior period, prior year, or a goal, and drillable by business unit, technician, or campaign. Owners who oversee more than one location can log in once and see performance across every tenant they manage, side by side, through Enterprise Hub.

The Atlas mobile app replaces the previous office companion app. It is separate from Atlas in the Field Mobile App, which answers equipment and troubleshooting questions for technicians on a job — one app for running the business, one for running the job.

Workflow comparison — before & after

← Before
✓ After
1.Open ServiceTitan on a desktop computer.
1.Download the Atlas mobile app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
2.Find and run the report that holds the number you want.
2.Sign in with your ServiceTitan username and password.
3.Read the breakdowns the report was built to show.
3.Ask Atlas a question about your business in your own words.
4.If the breakdown you want is missing, ask someone in the office to pull it and wait for the answer.
4.Read the answer, the comparison to the prior period, and the breakdown by job, technician, or business unit.
5.Check the metric dashboard for the numbers you track daily or weekly, or switch to Enterprise Hub to see the same numbers across every tenant you manage.
6.Send the specific job or technician named in the answer to the person who owns it.
⚠ Performance questions wait for a desktop and a report that already exists, so checks happen less often and follow-up gets delayed.
✓ You get the number and the detail behind it from your phone, so a performance question turns into a next step in the same moment.

How it works for your industry

Residential Service and Replacement
  • A residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) owner runs a daily huddle. Between appointments, they ask Atlas how booking rate is tracking this week against last week, and bring the answer into the huddle instead of pulling a report beforehand.
  • A plumbing owner notices revenue is behind and asks Atlas which business unit is driving the gap. The answer names the business unit, so the owner sends it straight to the manager who owns that team.
  • An electrical owner reviewing performance on a weekly rhythm asks Atlas about average ticket by technician. The breakdown names the technicians, which gives the owner a specific list for the next round of one on ones.

How to prepare

01
This feature is currently in Private Preview and not available for all accounts.
02
Have an administrator reach out to Support or your Customer Success Manager (CSM) to have the Atlas mobile app and any prerequisite configurations enabled. If your account isn't on ServiceTitan Max yet, you can join the waitlist to be notified when access opens up.
03
Have an administrator with the "View or update user employee permissions" permission go to the Settings screen, select Atlas, then select Manage Access, and review the personas assigned to each person in your company. Atlas access is off by default. In auto mode, the persona is inferred from the person's role. To override it, turn off auto assignment and assign the owner persona directly.
04
Identify the people in your company who check business numbers on a daily or weekly rhythm, and confirm each of them has the owner persona assigned.
05
Have those people download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play and sign in with their existing ServiceTitan username and password.
06
Bookmark any knowledge base articles or Academy videos for team training.
