Analyze Field Pro recording activity with Job Recordings reports

Prev Next

This is a new feature that adds a Job Recordings dataset to ServiceTitan Reports, so you can report on Field Pro recording activity alongside job, technician, and opportunity data.

What's new?

Previously, Field Pro recording data was only available within Field Pro itself. To understand how technicians were using recordings relative to their job volume, managers had to switch between Field Pro and ServiceTitan Reports and manually compare data across screens. There was no way to build custom reports that combined recording activity with job details, lead sources, or technician performance metrics.

With the new Job Recordings dataset, recording data is now available directly in ServiceTitan Reports. You can build custom reports, use four preloaded default reports (Field Pro Job Recordings, Field Pro Recordings Overview, Field Pro Recordings Per Technician, and Field Pro Technician Recording Activity), and cross-reference recording activity with jobs, technicians, opportunities, and lead sources in a single view.

Before and After

Before (Current)

  1. Go to Field Pro and review recordings for individual technicians.

  2. Open ServiceTitan Reports in a separate tab and run a Jobs report.

  3. Manually compare recording activity against job volume by switching between screens.

  4. Copy data into a spreadsheet to combine Field Pro recording metrics with job performance data.

Impact: Managers spend extra time cross-referencing data across multiple screens and cannot build reusable reports that combine recording activity with business data.

Try the current workflow in your account.

After

  1. Go to Reports and open one of the four preloaded Field Pro Job Recordings reports, or create a custom report using the Job Recordings dataset.

  2. Filter by date range, technician, or event type to focus on specific recording activity.

  3. Review recording metrics like average duration, recording source, and appointments run compared to recordings captured per technician.

  4. Export or schedule the report to share with your team.

Impact: Managers analyze recording adoption and coverage alongside job, opportunity, and technician data in one report, without switching between tools.

Who uses this feature

  • Residential Service and Replacement

  • Administrators, Managers

  • Region availability: All regions

How it works for your industry

Residential Service and Replacement

  • A service manager runs the Field Pro Recordings Per Technician report to identify which heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) technicians recorded fewer than half their appointments last week, then schedules a coaching session to reinforce recording habits.

  • A business owner filters the Job Recordings report by lead source to discover that technicians on referral jobs close at a higher rate when they record conversations compared to when they do not, and uses this insight to adjust team training.

  • An administrator shares the Field Pro Technician Recording Activity report with team leads each Monday so they can track weekly recording coverage and address gaps before they become trends.

How to prepare?

  1. Confirm your account has Field Pro. If you do not already have Field Pro and are interested, request a demo on our Pro Products page, or reach out to your Customer Success Manager (CSM) or Pro Account Manager (PAM).

  2. Identify which managers and administrators should have access to the new reports. Review reporting permissions in ServiceTitan settings to confirm the right people can view and share reports.

  3. Review the four preloaded default reports: Field Pro Job Recordings, Field Pro Recordings Overview, Field Pro Recordings Per Technician, and Field Pro Technician Recording Activity. Decide which reports to share with your team.

  4. Train managers on how to filter and customize reports to answer questions specific to your business.
