This improvement gives more control over which forms must be completed for each service during a Service Agreement visit.
What's changing with Service Agreement Tasking?
Before, there wasn't a way to require a specific form when adding a service to a Service Agreement visit. Now, you can link a form to a service in Pricebook and choose whether that form is required. When booking a visit, this association carries through to the job and invoice. Technicians see exactly what form to complete based on the service and equipment tied to the job.
Before and After
Before (Current)
Go to the navigation bar and click Pricebook.
Edit a service in Pricebook.
No way to mark a form as required for specific service agreements.
Create a Service Agreement.
Add a service to a visit—no linked form appears.
Book the visit to a job—technician sees service but no required form.
Impact: Technicians may miss form completion, reducing service quality and accountability.
After
In a Service Agreement, on the Scope of Work screen, click +Add Visit.
Click +Add Service and select a service from the list.
Click the Equipment (Optional) dropdown to associate a service with the Installed Equipment. Note: We strongly recommend associating each service with the installed equipment on which it will be performed. This ensures technicians see the correct instructions, history, and required forms at the visit.
From the Forms column, select a form.
Mark it as required if needed.
Save the changes.
Book a visit to a job, technician sees both the service and the required form.
Impact: Helps ensure technicians complete the right form for the service, boosting accountability.
