The YOY Trends reports let you build year-over-year graphs for the following key performance indicators (KPIs): completed revenue, completed jobs, lead calls, canceled jobs, and future scheduled jobs. You can view multiple years on one graph, giving you a visual tool for tracking business performance.
Run report
Select the report and set filters before you run it:
Go to the navigation bar and click Reports. The All Reports screen opens.
Click one of the following reports to open it:
YOY Trends - Canceled Jobs—Reports on number of jobs scheduled within the selected date range that are canceled
YOY Trends - Completed Jobs—Reports on number jobs completed within the selected date range
YOY Trends - Future Scheduled Jobs—Reports on all jobs created within the selected date range that are not canceled
YOY Trends - Completed Revenue—Reports on completed revenue which is the subtotal of income items for completed jobs
YOY Trends - Lead Calls—Reports on number of calls lasting at least 60 seconds and are not classified as excused
Tip: In the search field, enter a few letters of the report title for quick access.
Click the Period dropdown and select the time unit you want to report on: Day, Week, or Month.
Click the From - To field to select a date range to report on. You can:
Use the calendar to select a specific date range and click Apply.
Use the left menu to select a preset date range:
Today: From 12:00 AM to the current time
Yesterday: Previous day, from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM
Last 7 Days: Previous seven days, including the current date
Last 14 Days: Previous 14 days, including the current date
Last 30 Days: Previous 30 days, including the current date
Month to Date: From the first of the current month to the current day
Last Month: Entire month before the current month. For example, if the date is February 5, the entire month of January.
Last 90 Days: Previous 90 days, including the current date
This Quarter: Current quarter, including future dates. For example, if the date is April 25, from April 1 - June 30.
Last Quarter: Entire quarter before the current quarter. For example, if the date is April 25, from January 1 - March 31.
Quarter to Date: From the first day of the current quarter to the current day
Year to Date: From January 1 of the current year to the current day
Last 365 Days: Previous 365 days, including the current date
Tip: The results display in a year-long graph. Enter a range that spans at least two years. For example, if you enter 1/1/18 to 12/31/19, the report graphs results from 2019 and 2018 on the same timeline for you to compare.
From the Business Unit dropdown, select the job business units (BUs) you want to report on. By default, the report runs for all BUs. You can filter your report by BUs or BU categories:
Click the dropdown to select individual BUs.
To report on BU categories such as trade or division, click Filter
, select the BU categories you want to include, and click Filter.
When you’re done setting your filters, click Run Report.
Read report results
The report graphs metrics for each year on one timeline:
On the side of the graph is a color-coded key showing the metric and year. Below the graph is a table of the graph values.
To interact with the graph:
Hover over a metric to highlight the points on the corresponding graph line.
Click a metric to toggle the corresponding graph line on and off.
Hover over a point on the line to view its value.
If your report includes multiple metrics, deselect Single Y-axis to show the Y-axes for all metrics.
Note: For best results, report on a single metric at a time.
Note: To save the report graph to your computer, click the Export dropdown and select Export Chart to PDF.
Customize report table
You can also arrange and filter your results to customize the report results table.
Note: Customizing the report results table does not affect the graph.
