Problem
Technicians can't return to completed jobs in ServiceTitan Mobile to create an estimate or call the customer. This is because the job is marked as completed, and the system assumes no further actions are needed.
Solution
Make sure technicians can still create estimates and communicate with customers effectively.
Create an Estimate or Call the Customer for a Completed Job
There are two options to do that:
Option 1
Reopen the appointment
Go to the job in ServiceTitan from the office side.
Choose the option to reopen the appointment. This action changes the job status back to in progress.
Technicians can now access the job in ServiceTitan Mobile to create an estimate or use the click-to-call feature.
Option 2
Create a new appointment
If the original job is completed and cannot be reopened, create a new appointment for the same job.
In ServiceTitan, go to the customer's profile.
Select to add a new appointment.
Assign the technician to the new appointment.
Technicians will see the new appointment in ServiceTitan Mobile and can proceed to create an estimate or call the customer.
