Why outbound calls are not recorded with ServiceTitan's Basic Phone integration?

Problem

You cannot find the recordings of the outbound calls you made in ServiceTitan.

Solution

Check if the call recording settings are enabled in ServiceTitan:

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Settings.

  2. In the side menu, click Phones > Call Recordings.

  3. In the Outbound Calls section, click Edit and select Automatically start recording at beginning of call.

  4. Click Save to save the changes.

Note: If you make outbound calls outside of ServiceTitan, the call will not be recorded. To record outbound calls, use the click-to-call feature in ServiceTitan to make the call.
