What is the process for creating a blank estimate with no information or tasks, but with the company's information and a one-year warranty on all workmanship?

Problem

You need to create an estimate with no tasks or information. You want to add your company's details and a warranty note.

Solution

You will have a blank estimate with your company's information and a one-year warranty note at the bottom.

Set up the business unit

  1. Go to Settings .

  2. In the side panel, click Operations > Business Unit.

  3. Update the Acknowledgement Agreement and Authorization Paragraph fields. This is where you add your one-year warranty on all workmanship.

Create a blank estimate on the Call Booking screen

  1. Go to the Call Booking screen.

  2. Select a location for the estimate.

  3. Click Build Estimate at the bottom of the page. Make sure you don't add any tasks or information.    

    Note: Please, contact technical support to have access to the Build Estimate feature.

  4. Click Back to Call screen from the top left corner.

  5. Book a job with this estimate for a specific customer.

Create a blank estimate on the Location screen

  1. Go to the Location screen.

  2. Click Opportunities & Estimates.

  3. Click Build Estimate.    

    Note: You need the Opportunities on Locations configuration enabled on your account. Please contact your success manager or technical support to have access to the feature.

If you choose this option, you don't need to book a sales job later.
