Overview
Switching to Field Pro v2 is a fresh start. Your recordings stay in legacy Field Pro, and you can still look them up there. If you choose, ServiceTitan can also bring your recent recordings into Field Pro v2.
This article explains what can come across, what stays behind, and what to do before your switch.
Who this is for
Whoever is planning your switch: you decide whether to import recent recordings and what to save from legacy Field Pro.
Managers: your coaching history (comments, playlists, follow-ups) stays in legacy Field Pro, so read What stays in legacy Field Pro below.
Importing recent recordings (optional)
Importing legacy recordings into Field Pro v2 is optional. If you'd like it, ask your Pro Product Specialist. Once it's turned on, it brings in your recordings from the 30 days before that day. It then keeps adding any new recordings made in legacy Field Pro until it's turned off. Older recordings aren't imported.
Not every recording in that window comes across
Some recordings may not come across, for example a recording that wasn't linked to a Job. Skipped recordings stay in legacy Field Pro. After the import starts, compare what you see in Field Pro v2 with what you expect, and raise any gaps with your Pro Product Specialist.
To see only imported recordings, open Recordings and use the Sources filter and choose Import.

Re-processed, not copied
Imported recordings are processed again from the audio. Field Pro v2 creates a new transcript, summary and score for each one, using your Field Pro v2 recording profiles and scorecards. Legacy transcripts, summaries and scores don't come across, so expect scores to differ, sometimes by a lot.
Imported recordings keep their original recording date, so they appear in your history where you'd expect. Unlike new recordings, they don't add a Field Pro summary note to the job.
Legacy Field Pro scores aren't shown in Field Pro v2. Imported recordings also aren't included in Scorecards or Manager Console trends.
Your legacy recordings after you switch
Your legacy recordings aren't deleted when you switch. For now, you'll continue to have access to your legacy recordings in the legacy web app at fieldpro.servicetitan.com. Anyone who signs in there today can keep using it to look things up.
A few things to know:
It's a separate sign-in. After your switch, legacy Field Pro is no longer available inside ServiceTitan; use fieldpro.servicetitan.com instead.
It's for looking things up. Comments, playlists or follow-ups you add there won't appear in Field Pro v2.
It isn't a second way to record. Once your company switches, everyone records with Field Pro v2. See Field Pro v2 Transition Guide: What Changes and What to Expect.
We're also building a read-only view of your legacy recordings inside Field Pro v2. Once it's released, access to the legacy web app at fieldpro.servicetitan.com will end.
What stays in legacy Field Pro
These stay in legacy Field Pro and don't come across to Field Pro v2:
Comments, including replies. This is usually the biggest loss, because it's the written record of your coaching.
Playlists, including training and onboarding playlists. Rebuild them in Field Pro v2 from new Field Pro v2 recordings.
Follow-ups (called Re-engage in legacy Field Pro), open or closed. Work through open follow-ups before you switch.
Legacy Field Pro dashboards and analytics.
The history of configuration changes, meaning who changed which scorecard or setting, and when.
Your legacy recording data is still available in ServiceTitan's standard Field Pro reports, next to your Field Pro v2 recordings. See Use Field Pro v2 Reports.
Configuration is different from configuration history
Your settings are a separate question from your data. Your Pro Product Specialist can bring your current legacy Field Pro setup into Field Pro v2 as it is: your teams and who is on them, which teams your managers can see, your bookmarks and AI metrics (as signals), and your scorecards. That's the fastest way to start. You can bring all of it or only some, or use the switch to revise your scorecards. Either way, you review the setup before your team switches. A few details, such as scorecard color thresholds and individual weights within a scorecard section, don't carry over exactly, so check your scorecards afterward. The history of past configuration changes stays in legacy Field Pro.
After your switch, check team access. See Field Pro v2 Settings, Permissions, and Teams.
What to save before you switch
There's no bulk export of legacy Field Pro recordings, transcripts or comments. Anything you want to keep outside legacy Field Pro has to be saved one recording at a time, so decide what's worth saving first.
Before your switch
Close out open follow-ups. They don't come across.
List your training playlists. Write down the recordings in any playlist you use for onboarding or training. The list is most of the work of rebuilding it.
Save coaching comments that still matter. Focus on active performance conversations and coaching in progress.
Note your best-example recordings, the calls you use to show what good looks like.
Decide whether to import recent recordings, and tell your Pro Product Specialist.
