What does the IsInventory field mean in the pricebook exported file?

Users need to understand what the IsInventory field indicates in the pricebook exported file.

You can identify which items in your pricebook are tracked in the inventory system.

Understand the IsInventory field

  1. Export your pricebook from ServiceTitan.        

    1. Go to the Pricebook section.

    2. Find the option to export your pricebook.

    3. Click on the export option and save the file to your computer.

  2. Open the exported pricebook file.        

    1. Locate the file on your computer.

    2. Double-click the file to open it. It should open in Excel or another spreadsheet program.

  3. Find the IsInventory field.        

    1. Scroll through the columns in your spreadsheet until you find the one labeled IsInventory.

  4. Understand the IsInventory field.        

    1. If the IsInventory field is checked or says Yes for an item, this means the item is tracked in the inventory.

    2. Items with this field checked are considered Tracked inventory items.

    3. Items without this field checked are Untracked and not actively monitored in the inventory system.
