Overview
Use the Messages screen on a service agreement to send internal messages to your team and emails to external recipients directly from the agreement.
Who uses this feature
Administrators, accountants, estimators, project managers, and operations managers
Primarily benefits Commercial Service and Replacement business types, and Residential Service and Replacement business types

This feature is currently in Early Access and available for specific accounts. It is subject to change. If you want to enable this feature for your account, join the waitlist here.
Things to know
The Messages screen appears on both draft and active agreements. Conversations started on a draft agreement are preserved and remain visible after the agreement is activated.
To send an email, you must be signed in as a non-admin, because a sender email address is required.
You can email any recipient. Email addresses are entered manually and are not limited to the contacts associated with the agreement's locations.
Full functionality is available to office employees. The Messages feature has reduced functionality in the Field Mobile App.
Open the Messages screen from a service agreement
Open the service agreement you want to work with.
In the side menu, click Messages.

Send an internal message from a service agreement
On the agreement's Messages screen, start a new internal message from the Internal Chat tab.
Enter your message then click Send
.
Tip: You can @ mention a team member so they're notified.

Send an email from a service agreement
On the agreement's Messages screen, start a new email from the Email tab by clicking Compose Email.

Enter the recipient's email address, a subject, and your message, then click Send
. 
The email and any replies are recorded on the agreement's Messages screen so your team has a single, shared history.
