SIP number changes for a campaign aren't saving

What you're seeing

You try to change the SIP number for a specific marketing campaign's tracking number, and the change doesn't save. The phone number keeps its old SIP destination even after you edit it.

Why this happens

There are 2 common reasons.

Reason 1

The SIP destination isn't in the exact format ServiceTitan expects.

The forwarding number field only accepts the SIP destination in one specific format. If the format is off, the change won't stick.

Reason 2

You don't have the permission that allows editing the field.

Editing the forwarding number requires a specific permission. If that permission is missing, the change won't save.

How to fix it

Before you start

You need the Forwarding number settings permission to make this change. This permission is not always enabled by default, even for administrators, so if you cannot edit the field, ask your admin to turn it on for you and anyone else who needs access.

1Re-enter the SIP number in the correct format

  1. Go to Settings > Phones > Phone Numbers.

  2. Find the phone number associated with the marketing campaign, and in its Forwarding number settings field, enter the new SIP number. Use this format: sip:+1XXXXXXXXXX@IP ADDRESS:5060

  3. Click Save, then refresh the page to confirm the new SIP number stuck.

Note: If you are on Phones Pro or Contact Center Pro, this field may be labeled Set Call Continuity Number rather than Forwarding number settings. It is the same forwarding field.

✓ Done · The phone number shows the new SIP destination after you refresh.
