Overview
Measurement KPIs in the Location and Estimates datasets let roofing and exteriors administrators run custom reports that show measurement report data across their business. You can see which locations have measurement reports, where measurements came from, who requested them, what their current status is, and which estimates were generated using measurement data. This makes it easy to track measurement activity and identify opportunities to improve your estimating workflow.

Things to know
Measurement KPIs appear in the Location Basics category within the Location dataset, and in the Estimates dataset. The measurement fields available in the Location dataset are: Measurement Name, Measurement Source, Measurement Request On, Measurement Requested By, and Measurement Report Status. All five fields are filterable and sortable.
The Estimates dataset shows which estimates were generated using measurement data, allowing you to cross-reference estimate activity with measurement history.
If a location has more than one measurement report, the values for each field display as comma-separated entries in a single row. For example, a location with both a Hover and a GAF Quickmeasure measurement would show Hover, GAF Quickmeasure in the Measurement Source field.
Measurement KPIs reflect data from your integrated measurement providers–such as Hover, GAF Quickmeasure, or EagleView. If your account does not use a measurement integration, these fields will be empty.
Best practices
Use filters on Measurement Report Status in the Location dataset to quickly identify locations where measurements are still pending, so you can follow up before a sales appointment.
Use the Estimates dataset to see which estimates were built from measurement data — this helps you understand how often your team is leveraging measurements to speed up the estimating process.
Combine the Measurement Source filter with other location or estimate fields to compare estimate conversion rates across different measurement providers.
Use Measurement Requested By to track which team members are ordering the most measurements, helping with workload visibility and accountability.
Use cases
A roofing company wants to see all locations where a measurement report was ordered in the last 30 days. They build a location report, add the Measurement Request On field, and apply a date filter to view recent activity.
A sales manager wants to know how many estimates were generated from measurement data this month. They run an Estimates report, filter by the measurement KPI fields, and compare that to total estimates created in the same period.
An administrator wants to audit which employees have been requesting measurements. They add the Measurement Requested By field to a location report and review results by employee name.
