Can technicians create POs outside of jobs and track their truck fuel in ServiceTitan?

Problem

Technicians cannot create POs without a job. There is no feature to track fuel in real-time within ServiceTitan.

Solution

Creating POs

Note: Technicians must be linked to a job to create a PO. Only on the office side can non-job POs be created.

1. Log in to ServiceTitan from the office side.

2. Go to the job you want to create a PO for.

3. Find the "Purchase Orders" section.

4. Click on "Create PO" and fill in the necessary details.

5. Submit the PO for approval.

Tracking Fuel Costs

Note: Real-time fuel tracking is not available. Fuel costs can only be added manually to invoices linked to jobs.

1. Log in to ServiceTitan.

2. Go to the job you want to add fuel costs to.

3. Open the invoice linked to the job.

4. Add a minimum fee for gas costs.

5. Enter the cost details and save the invoice.
