Problem
Technicians can't see pricebook items, categories, or pricing on their mobile app. This includes services, materials, equipment, discounts and fees.
Solution
Troubleshoot missing Pricebook items in mobile with the following checklist:
Add a category to the item
Go to the navigation bar and click Pricebook.
In the side panel, click Services, Materials, or Equipment, depending on the pricebook item you want to edit. The appropriate screen opens.
Select the item you want to edit, click Actions
and select the View/Edit option.In the Categories field, choose one or more categories from the dropdown where you want the item to appear in the Pricebook.
Note: If no categories exist, Add a category first.
When finished, click Save.
Verify and activate inactive categories
Make sure the category you're assigning them to is active. If the category is inactive, follow these steps to activate it:
Go to the navigation bar and click Pricebook.
In the side panel, click Categories.
Click Filters.
In Status, select Inactive and click Apply to display inactive categories.

Find the category you want to activate and click Activat
.
Add a business unit to the technician profile
Go to Settings
> People > Technicians.Find the technician who can't see the items and click Edit.
On the technician Profile tab, check if the technician is assigned a business unit.

If the technician doesn't have a Business Unit assigned, select one from the dropdown and click Save Changes.
Add business units to item's category
Go to the navigation bar and click Pricebook.
In the side panel, click Categories.
Select the Services & Equipment or Materials & Other Direct Costs tab, depending on which category you want to assign a Business Unit to.

Check if the Business Unit the technician is assigned to is added to all relevant categories. If not, add it.

Remove Hide in Mobile from a category
Go to the navigation bar and click Pricebook.
In the side panel, click Categories.
Locate the Category that should appear on mobile and confirm if the Category has a checkmark under the Hide In Mobile column.

Click the checkmark
to clear it and make the category visible in mobile.
Check assigned Pricebook categories on the technician profile
Go to Settings
> People > Technicians.Find the technician who can't see certain items and click Edit.
In the ServiceTitan Mobile access section, check the Pricebook Categories field.
If the field is empty, the technician can view all categories tied to their Business Unit.
If one or more categories are selected, the technician will only see those specific categories.
Note: Those categories must be linked to the same Business Unit listed on the technician's profile.
To ensure full visibility, clear any unnecessary category selections and click Save.
Ask the technician to Sync their mobile Pricebook or sign out and back in to apply the changes.
Ask technician to download pricebook and sync changes
After you make changes, ask the technician to refresh their mobile Pricebook so the updates appear. They can either:
Log out and sign back in,
Tap Sync
and select Download Pricebook and Sync changes.
These actions force a sync and ensures the updated items show in the app.
