Technician shift details not appearing on the Dispatch Board

Problem

After scheduling a technician shift, the shift details aren't showing up on the Dispatch Board.

Keep in mind that technician shifts only appear as a color-coded bar on the Dispatch Board:

• Orange: On-call shift.

• White: Regular or overnight shift.

• Gray: Time off shift.        

  Note: Only time off shifts show the name of the shift on the Dispatch Board.

If you want a shift to appear in detail on the Dispatch Board, create the shift and then create a non-job event that includes the shift details. For more on how to create shifts and non-job events, see Use Technician Shifts and Schedule and manage non-job events.

Tip: You can also view shift details by going to Schedule > Technician Shifts.
