Problem
A technician sees materials when adding items to their invoice, despite materials being assigned to separate categories for each trade.
Solution
Resolve the issue of a technician seeing materials when adding items to their invoice in ServiceTitan.
Check the category of the material
In ServiceTitan, go to the navigation bar and click Pricebook.
In the side menu, click Categories.
Select the Materials tab.
Look at the Business Unit column for the material in question. Ensure the business unit is not assigned to the material in question.
Verify the category name isn't visible to the technician
Confirm if the category has a checkmark under the Hide In Mobile column.
Download ServiceTitan pricebook on the technician's mobile device
Open ServiceTitan Mobile.
Tap Sync
and select Download pricebook.
If downloading the pricebook does not resolve the issue, reinstall the ServiceTitan Mobile.
Reinstall ServiceTitan Mobile
Uninstall ServiceTitan Mobile from the device.
Go to the App Store for iOS devices or Google Play Store for Android devices.
Search for ServiceTitan Mobile.
Download and install the app.
Log in and try adding items to an invoice again.
