Why is the start time on the timesheet and the start time on payroll not matching?

Problem

You may notice a time difference between the timesheet and payroll start times. For example, a timesheet shows a start time at 8 AM, but payroll shows it as 9 AM. Google Chrome uses something called a "cache" to make pages load more quickly. This works by saving pages you access frequently so that your computer doesn't have to download them every time you visit a specific website. Although this will usually make your ServiceTitan experience better, if you're experiencing any trouble, clearing your cache is a good place to start because it forces your computer to re-download your frequently accessed page resources.

Solution

Clear Chrome Cache and refresh Payroll Data

  1. Navigate to Chrome > Delete browsing data.

  2. Select the top 4 checkboxes. This will not delete any of your saved passwords.

  3. Click Delete Data.

If the issue persists, try refreshing your payroll data from the Master Pay File report.

  1. Navigate to Reports > Master Pay File report.

  2. Click Refresh Payroll Data.

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the discrepancy between the timesheet and payroll start times.
