Overview
The Scheduler Progress Bar provides customers with a clear visual map of their booking journey. It replaces edit icons with intuitive navigation buttons to improve the booking experience. This feature can improve booking conversion rates by reducing uncertainty during scheduling.

Things to know
Existing customers must manually opt-in to the progress bar experience, while new schedulers include it by default.
After you enable the progress bar, you can't revert to the previous scheduler interface through the self-onboarding tool.
Enabling this feature automatically removes the Welcome Message banner to prioritize the progress bar.
This feature is compatible with all regions and does not require new permissions for your staff.

Preview the new workflow before enabling it to ensure your branding and custom fields display correctly in the new layout.
Review your Welcome Message content before enabling the progress bar because this banner is replaced by the progress bar.
Use progress bar data to monitor where customers drop off in your booking funnel.

A residential plumbing company notices high drop-off rates on the "Details" step and enables the progress bar to give customers a sense of completion.
An HVAC admin wants to modernize their website's booking widget by replacing dated pencil icons with a sleek, guided navigation bar.
Preview the progress bar
Go to Settings > Integrations > Marketing Integrations, click Edit
next to the Scheduling Pro integration.In WorkConnect, click More
> Edit
on your scheduler.In the Edit Scheduler screen that opens, find the Scheduler Progress Bar section.
Click Preview.

Review the mobile and desktop views to see how the progress bar and navigation buttons appear to customers.

Enable the progress bar
In the Scheduler Progress Bar section, click Enable Progress Bar.

On the Enable Progress Bar pop-up that opens, review the permanent change warning.

When finished, click Enable.
Note: This action is permanent for your self-service settings. If you need to revert, contact Technical Support for details.

After enabling, your customers see a guided experience at the top of the booking widget:

Location, Service, Schedule, Contact, and Additional steps are clearly labeled.
The active step is highlighted for clarity.
Completed steps are filled out with colour.
Back and Continue buttons replace pencil icons so customers can move between steps to review and edit their information.
