How can I reverse a canceled purchase that is tied to an order?

Problem

A PO tied to an order was accidentally canceled and needs to be made active again.

Solution

You can effectively recreate a canceled PO while keeping a reference to the original PO number in the new PO's Memo field.

Duplicate canceled PO in ServiceTitan and preserve original PO number

  1. Go to the canceled PO in ServiceTitan.

  2. Look for the Duplicate button. You will find it at the top-right corner of the page.

  3. Click the Duplicate button. This action will create a copy of the canceled PO.        

    Note: The new PO will have a different number. The system assigns a new sequential number to it.

  4. The old PO number will stay in Canceled status. This is to keep records accurate.

  5. To remember the old PO number, type it in the Memo field of the new PO. This way, you can keep track of the original PO number.

  6. Save the new PO with the information added to the Memo field.
