What is the new Phone Number Reuse feature?

This new feature in Marketing Pro Enterprise allows you to reuse existing tracking phone numbers from previous Autopilot campaigns when launching new campaigns for your tenants. This is especially helpful for large organizations managing marketing for many different franchise locations and tenants, as it helps reduce the number of new phone numbers generated over time.

Why would I want to reuse phone numbers?

For enterprises with numerous tenants, constantly generating new, local phone numbers for each campaign deployment across every location can become cumbersome and lead to a large inventory of numbers. Reusing numbers from past successful campaigns helps streamline the process and manage your tracking numbers more efficiently.

How does the Phone Number Reuse feature work?

After you deploy a new campaign to your tenants using the Enterprise Hub, you will now see an option to Reuse a phone number from a previous marketing campaign 

  1. From the Launch Campaign page select Reuse a phone number from a previous marketing campaign under the Tracking Numbers section.
  2. Click Select Campaign dropdown and select a previously deployed Autopilot campaign.

After you launch the new campaign, the system will look at each target tenant individually.

  • If a tenant already had a tracking number associated with the specific campaign you selected for reuse, that existing number is detached from the old campaign for that specific tenant and reassigned to the new campaign for that tenant.
  • If a tenant did not have a tracking number associated with the selected campaign, a new local phone number is generated for them for the new campaign, just like before.

Which campaigns can I reuse phone numbers from?

You can only select campaigns that were previously deployed using Autopilot. These eligible campaigns appear in the Select Campaign dropdown.

What happens if only some of my tenants had a phone number from the campaign I selected to reuse?

The system processes each tenant individually. 

  • For tenants who had a phone number from the selected campaign, that number is reused for the new campaign. 
  • For tenants who did not, a new, local phone number is generated for them as needed.

Will reusing a phone number affect the old campaign?

Yes, for the specific tenant(s) where a number is reused, that phone number is detached from the old campaign and associated with the new campaign.


Where can I find the most accurate, up-to-date information about phone numbers assigned to my campaigns?

While you may see a phone number listed in the campaign details view within Marketing Pro, this display might not always reflect the current, active number if it has been replaced or removed due to reuse or other changes. You can find the most reliable source of truth for all tracking phone numbers and their current assignments in Settings > Phones > Phone Numbers in your ServiceTitan account. You should always refer to this section for the definitive status and assignment of any phone number.
