Overview

After you set up the Thumbtack Leads Integration, you can edit the integration details if needed. You can also set up alerts.


Who uses this feature

  • Administrators, Customer Service Representatives (CSRs), Marketing Managers, Operations Managers, Project Managers, and anyone who receives Leads from Thumbtack.

  • Primarily for Residential Service & Replacement business types.

Things to know

  • After you set up the integration, Thumbtack Leads flow in with your other online bookings on the ServiceTitan Booking screen.

    • Direct Leads: These Leads perfectly match your Thumbtack targeting preferences. They come from customers who searched for a pro, saw your profile, and reached out to you. You pay for direct Leads automatically. You can find these in the Direct Leads section of your Leads tab.

      Note: Thumbtack doesn't currently collect the full address for customers who send Direct Leads, only for customers using the Thumbtack Instant Book feature. You'll need to contact customers to collect their full address and confirm their booking request before completing the workflow.

  • Depending on your account configuration, you might see different types of requests on the Bookings screen in addition to Thumbtack Leads. For more, see the Understand the different booking types section of Manage bookings.

  • Pros are what Thumbtack calls contractors. For ServiceTitan customers interested in becoming Thumbtack pros, visit the Thumbtack partnership landing page to sign up for Thumbtack.

  • Only Administrator or Owner roles in ServiceTitan can accept the data agreement and set up the integration.

  • If a standard job type has multiple custom job types or business unit mappings, the job type and business units won't pre-populate in the Lead.

  • Setup for this leads integration is not available in Enterprise Hub accounts.

Edit the Thumbtack Leads Integration

  1. Go to the top toolbar and click Settings A simple icon representing a settings gear..

  2. In the side panel, go to Integrations > Marketing Integrations.

  3. Click Edit next to the Thumbtack Leads Integration. User interface showing Thumbtack logo, edit button, and lead generation text.

  4. Edit integration details as needed.

  5. When finished, click Save.

Use booking alerts for Thumbtack Leads

Thumbtack Pros can set up Booking Request alerts in ServiceTitan to notify office employees and technicians when important changes occur. These alerts send an email or SMS message when a Thumbtack Lead is received, dismissed, and so on.
