Overview

Audit Trail allows you to view the log of changes when creating, updating, or deleting user roles or permissions in ServiceTitan. Use the audit trail to review, verify, and authorize the changes.


Who uses this feature

  • Administrators

  • Applies to all business types

Feature configuration

  • Account configuration is required to use this feature. Please contact Technical Support for details.

View Audit Trail

To access the audit trail:

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Settings A simple icon representing a settings gear. .

  2. In the side panel, click Security > Audit Trails.

The Audit Trail screen lets you view the following information:

  • Date and Time: Date and time when the change to the record occurred

  • Record Name: The username of role name modified

  • Record Type: The employee, technician, or role

  • Action by: The user or system who modified the record

  • Action: The action description record

  • View Details: View more detailed audit logs on that specific record Audit trail showing employee actions and changes in settings for record az2.

View user Audit Trail details

To get a more detailed view of changes made to a specific record:

  1. On the Audit Trail screen, find the record you want to view.

  3. On the audit trail detailed view screen that opens, review the log of changes made to that record.

  4. Click the Before or After fields to view the specific changes. Audit trail showing employee role change from Dispatch to Admin with event details.

  5. Use the search bar to search for the log of changes.

Filter and search for the user Audit Trail records

You can filter the user Audit Trail records using the filter dropdown found at the top of the table. You can filter the records by the date range, record type, action by, and action.

Click Clear to reset your filter selections.

Use the search bar to search for user audit trail records. You can search records by:

  • Name of the user

  • Role

  • Record type

  • Action description

Edit and rearrange table columns

Use the Edit Columns option to show or hide columns and rearrange the columns in the user Audit Trail table.

Use pagination to easily navigate large datasets by breaking them into smaller, manageable pages.
