Things to know
If you’re unsure which columns you want to include in your report, use the Reporting Dictionary to search for appropriate data fields.
You can use this template to create as many custom reports as you need. Each report created from the template is independent and can be run or scheduled without needing to recreate it from the original template.
Create an Inventory report
Follow the steps to create a custom report based on the Inventory template and select the columns to include in your report.
The template has the following columns selected by default:
Transaction type: Specifies if the transaction is a Purchase Order, Receipt, Return, Adjustment, Transfer or Bill.
Inventory Location: The location assigned to the transaction (i.e. Warehouse 1, Truck 2)
Transaction Status: Current status of the transaction (statuses differ based on transaction type)
You can customize the report by selecting fields from these sections:
Transaction Date: Key transaction dates (ie created, received, picked, etc.)
Quantity: Quantities on the transaction or to be replenished
Transaction Total: Key value totals (i.e. shipping, total, tax, etc.)
