Problem

Users reported that their inventory count progress was not saving. They noticed that the count was missing and showed as if nothing had been counted on both the mobile inventory app and the ServiceTitan website.

Solution

  1. Check if you were saving progress correctly. Ensure you click Save Progress after counting items.

  2. Go to the Inventory section on the ServiceTitan website. Then, go to the Inventory Counts subsection.

  3. Look for the specific count you were working on. For example, if you were counting items for a truck, find that truck's cycle count.

  4. If you do not see your progress, try adding a count to an item and save the progress again. Use an item from the count you were working on. For example, if you were counting items on Truck 130, add a count to an item like "CPVC-1-90".

  5. After adding and saving the count for one item, click Finish for Now. This action should change the status to In Progress.

  6. Check the In Progress section under Inventory > Inventory Counts on the ServiceTitan website to see if your count appears there.

  7. If the count still does not appear, uninstall and reinstall the inventory app on your mobile device.

  8. After reinstalling, try to save progress on a count again. Make sure to click Finish For Now after saving.

  9. Check the ServiceTitan website again to see if your progress is now visible.

Following these steps should help you resolve the issue of disappearing inventory count progress on both the ServiceTitan inventory app and website.
