How to prevent technicians from completing their own jobs in ServiceTitan?

Problem

You want to prevent technicians from completing their own jobs but don't know how to configure this in ServiceTitan.

Solution

There isn't a way to prevent techs from completing their jobs. However, a workaround could be to enable the Pause on an appointment permission.

Change your technician settings

1. Go to the top toolbar and click Settings .

2. In the side panel, click People > Technicians.

3. Find the technician you want to update and click Edit.

4. Click the Permissions tab.

5. Find the Pause on an appointment permission and enable it. 

6. When finished, click Save Changes.
