How to Limit Call Transfer Option to Office Employees Only

Problem

When employees try to transfer a call, they are able to search the entire customer list instead of seeing only fellow employees. This can lead to accidental transfers to customers.

Solution

  1. Have an Admin user in Dialpad login to Dialpad and then go to Admin Settings.

  2. Select Office Settings.

  3. In Office-wide Settings go to Making Calls.

  4. Uncheck the box next to Allow Team Members to Transfer Calls Outside of the Company.

  5. Close the app and reopen it.

  6. Test the call transfer option to ensure it is limited to office employees only.
