Problem
Sometimes, a PO is not created or received on time. You may need to post it with a past date.
Solution
Creating a Purchase Order with a Past Date
Go to the Inventory page in ServiceTitan.
Click Create new PO.
Fill out all the required information for the PO. This includes selecting the job, choosing the vendor, setting the items, and importantly, setting the creation date to the desired past date.
Click Create to finalize the PO.
Editing the Sent Date of a Purchase Order
After creating the PO, go to the Purchase Order section.
Find the PO you just created and click to open it.
From the Action drop-down, click Edit.
Scroll down to the Sent Date and change it to the past date you need.
Save the changes.
Receiving a Purchase Order with a Past Date
Now that the sent date is set to a past date, you can receive the PO.
Go to the PO details page.
Click on the option to receive the PO.
During the receiving process, you will be able to mark it with the past date you need.
