How can I temporarily forward calls for a specific day in Phones Pro?

Problem

You need to forward calls to an answering service on a specific day at a certain time.

Solution

Mark the day as closed in Business Hours and set Closed Hours Routing to your answering service.

Edit your Closed Hours

  1. In DialPad, go to Admin Settings > Office > Main line.

  2. Click Business Hours and Call Routing.

  3. In the Business Hours section, select Only during specific hours to specify your open and closed hours.

  4. In the Call Routing section, click Edit Call Routing.

  5. Select Closed Hours Routing and edit the Routing Options to route the calls to an external number.

Note: You need to edit the business hours again the following week to revert to the original settings.
