Find an Inventory Item in QuickBooks Desktop
To find an Inventory Item in QBD:
Click on Inventory > Inventory Centre > Search for the item in the search field.
You can also go to Lists > Item List > search for the item in the search field or click the type column to sort by your item types. If the item is not set as inventory it would be classified as a non-inventory part.
