Things to know
The setup check generally takes up to 10 minutes to run.
Run the setup check
The Dispatch Pro setup check runs automatically after you click Dispatch Pro > Turn On Dispatch Pro. The setup check looks at the following items:
Zones configuration: This verifies all your zones are set up correctly.
Job types configuration: This verifies all your Dispatch Pro-enabled job types are set up correctly.
Technicians configuration: This verifies all your Dispatch Pro-enabled technicians are set up correctly.
Booked jobs verification: This verifies all booked jobs of Dispatch Pro-enabled types have the correct information.
Note: The sync
icon means the setup check is still running. It might take up to 10 minutes to complete.
If you move away to a different screen, the setup check continues running in the background. If you want to run the setup check again, go to Settings > Dispatch Pro > Settings and click Setup Check from the Dispatch Pro dropdown at the top of the screen.

View setup check findings
The setup check dropdown only displays while it's running. When it's finished running, a message pops up corresponding to the highest level warning and the dropdown clears after a few seconds.

To view setup check findings in detail, go to Settings > Dispatch Pro > Settings and click Open Setup Recommendations Panel.

If the setup check findings span multiple levels of warnings (critical, serious, or others), the warning and color-coded icon on the Dispatch Pro dropdown corresponds to the highest level warning. Levels in order of highest to lowest are as follows:

If you see a Check
icon next to the Dispatch Pro dropdown, any recommendations are suggestions only and Dispatch Pro is live and running. If you see an Off
icon next to the Dispatch Pro dropdown, the issues found need to be addressed before Dispatch Pro can go live.
For more on setup check recommendations and warnings, see Dispatch Pro setup step 2: Resolve issues found by the Dispatch Pro setup check.
