Why is the Create Assembly button in Purchasing Template grayed out?

Problem

The Create assembly button is greyed out in Purchasing > Template. This prevents creating a new purchasing assembly.

Solution

The issue occurs because the Add/Edit Assembly permission is not enabled for the user's role.

Enabling Add/Edit Assembly Permission for a user role

1. Go to the navigation bar and click Settings .

2. In the side menu, click People > Role Permissions.

3. Find the role assigned to the user, such as Inventory/Warehouse Manager-Branch, and click Edit.

4. On the Edit Role screen that opens, scroll to the Purchasing and Inventory section.

5. Check if the Add/Edit Assembly permission is enabled, if not, enable it.

6. When finished, click Save.

Note: If roles are managed in Enterprise Hub, make sure that the permission is available in the desired role.
