Costs don’t populate after a pricebook import

Problem

After importing your pricebook, equipment costs do not populate even though the Cost column in your spreadsheet contains data.

Solution

ServiceTitan uses vendor-based pricing. If you only update the Cost column in the spreadsheet, the system doesn't apply those values. The costs must also be reflected in the Vendor Price column for the primary vendor assigned to each item.

Update both the Cost column and the Vendor Price column to ensure the new costs apply correctly.

Tip: Identify which vendor is set as the primary vendor for the item, then update that vendor's price column.

Update the pricebook file

  1. Open your pricebook import file.

  2. Locate the vendor price column, for example, Default Replenishment Vendor [Vendor] Price, and add the costs for each item.

Tip: Copy the values from the Cost column and paste them into the vendor price column.

  3. Save the updated file.

  4. Import the file into ServiceTitan.

  5. Verify that the equipment costs now display correctly.
