Problem
You need to complete a job in ServiceTitan from the office side to test job notifications without impacting technician performance. Sometimes, you may encounter issues when the job has a non-managed technician assigned and a non-zero dollar invoice.
Solution
Complete a job from the office side in ServiceTitan to test post-job communications without affecting your technician's numbers.
Test job notifications
Book a job using a test location, and ensure the location has valid contact information with job notifications enabled. For more, see Enable booking confirmations.
On the Job screen, click
and select No Charge/Non-Opportunity.When finished, click Save.
Go to the Invoice screen and ensure there are no tasks.
Go back to the Job screen.
Scroll down to the Scheduled Appointments section and check if a technician is assigned to each appointment.
If a technician is missing, click
and assign a technician to the appointment.Dispatch and arrive the technician to the appointment, and then complete the job.
