Overview
Complete a job after all technicians and appointments are marked Done. This updates the job's status, ensuring all work is properly tracked.
To complete a job, you need to complete the required forms, finalize the invoice, accept payment if the customer is paying right now, and get the customer's signature on the final invoice.

Things to know
Don't complete a job if there are more appointments or technicians on the job. Any technicians working or scheduled on other appointments will lose access to the job when it's completed. Instead, mark the appointment as Complete.
Additional steps may be required for your business's job workflow. Check with your field manager to learn more about any additional steps you need to complete.
There are a few things that block a job from being completed:
A required form needs to be filled out
Required signatures need to be collected
Required equipment details need to be entered
In most cases, ServiceTitan requires at least one valid, active managed technician to perform work on a job and generate a timesheet before it can be marked as complete, even if the job's invoice is $0. If the job is associated with a project, a managed technician with a timesheet entry must be on one of the jobs also associated with the project, excluding jobs with sold estimates. For more, see Managed technicians and non-managed technicians in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App.
Note: If the job does have a managed technician with a timesheet but you still see a message stating Action Required: Managed Technician Not Detected, review the Common scenarios and solutions in this article for troubleshooting steps.
Complete a job in the Field Mobile App
Open the job and tap Close Out.

On the Close Out screen that opens, tap Complete Job.
Note: If there are remaining technicians or appointments on the job, you'll see Mark myself as done or Complete Appointment instead. All technicians and appointments on a job must be marked Done before you can complete the job.

On the Complete Job screen that opens, tap Complete Job.
Note: Make sure required forms are filled out, required signatures are collected, and required equipment details are entered.

Note: If needed, you can also complete a job by tapping Close Out > Mark myself as done or Complete Appointment > Close out job instead.

Tip: If you have the Enable Visit Assistant permission, you can have customers review and sign required job signatures from their own device, without needing to share yours. For more, see Use the contactless experience for required job signatures in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App.
