Break up time entry
On the Timesheets screen, locate the timesheet entry you want to break up.
On the timesheet entry, click Edit synchronized timesheet entries.

On the Edit Timesheet Entry screen that opens, click Break Up Entries.

On the Break Up Entry screen that opens, select the people whose timesheets will be edited. By default, it selects everyone who was included in the original group timesheet. When you’re finished, click Continue.
On the Break Up screen that opens, add details about the activity to break it into smaller time entries. You can:
Edit the Duration, Activity, Job #, Project #, Labor Type, Tags, and Memo. The Start Time and End Times are automatically modified based on the Duration you enter for the activity.
When you’re finished adding details about the activity, click Add Entry. Repeating these steps can break up the timesheet entry into multiple entries.
Reorder the timesheet entries by selecting an entry and dragging it to where it should appear in the entry list. This automatically updates the start and end times for the entry.

If you’ve split up the timesheet entry into multiple entries but still have remaining time, you can click Fill remaining hours. This automatically fills in the remaining Duration for the original timesheet entry. Select an Activity for the remaining time, and click Add Entry.

When finished, click Continue.
On the Review screen that opens, review the details of new timesheet entries. If further edits are needed, click Back. If all looks good, click Save.
On the confirmation message that pops up, confirm you want to break up the remaining timesheet entries by clicking Break Up Entries.
