Problem

The 400 Bad Request Error is an HTTP response status code that indicates that the server was unable to process the request sent by the client due to invalid syntax. In other words, something in the batch you are exporting from ServiceTitan to QBO is out of alignment. In the case of the error "The account period has closed. Account Period Closed" this means that you have set a date in your QuickBooks Online that does not allow transactions from posting before that date so an error has occurred.

Solution

Change the closing date in QBO

Before you start, sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary admin or company admin. Only admins can make these changes. To change your closing date in QBO:

  1. Go to Settings A simple icon representing a settings gear. and then select Accounts and Settings.

  2. Select the Advanced tab.

  3. Select Edit   in the Accounting section.

  4. Change the closing date.

Note: To change your password, just enter a new password and confirm it.

  5. Select Save and then Done.
