Apply brand colors to email campaigns in Marketing Pro Enterprise

Prev Next

Overview

When you deploy an email campaign from Marketing Pro Enterprise, each tenant in your network can receive that campaign in its own brand colors. You build the campaign once in your template tenant, and at deploy time ServiceTitan replaces the template's colors with the colors saved on each receiving tenant — so a single campaign goes out looking like it belongs to each brand.

Who uses this feature

  • Marketing managers who manage marketing across multiple brands or tenants

Feature configuration

  • Your tenants must be attached to an Enterprise Hub network. This does not work for solo tenants.

  • Your tenants must be on Marketing Pro v2.

Things to know

  • Email Colors live on the tenant, not on the campaign template. Each tenant stores its own brand colors, and the same campaign picks up different colors for each tenant it deploys to.

  • Email Colors are matched by hex value. ServiceTitan finds every element in the template that uses a given hex color and replaces it. There are no merge tags and no per-element tagging, so every element sharing a hex color changes together. If a heading and a button use the same hex, both take the new color.

  • If a tenant has no email colors saved in it’s brand settings, the campaign will deploys in the template's original colors. No error appears and no warning is shown.

  • If the template itself has no primary or secondary color assigned, substitution is skipped entirely and the campaign deploys unchanged.

  • This applies to email campaigns and multi-channel campaigns that contain email. SMS campaigns are unaffected.

  • Marketing Pro Enterprise always deploys to the Default brand. There is not yet a way to deploy a campaign to a secondary brand in a tenant.

Step 1: Select email colors in the brand settings

Email colors are saved in brand settings of Marketing. Do this for each default brand you plan to deploy to.

  1. In the tenant, go to the navigation bar and click Settings.

  2. In the side panel, go to Marketing Pro > Brand.

  3. Find the default brand and click Actions > View.

  4. In the Email Colors section, set a background color, a primary color and a secondary color.

  5. Save your changes.

Repeat this for every tenant you plan to deploy campaigns to.

Step 2: Assign template colors when you launch a campaign

Once your tenants have email colors saved, log into Marketing Pro Enterprise to deploy the campaign or template. You can preview the result for each tenant before you launch.

  1. In Marketing Pro Enterprise, click Manage Campaigns in the side menu.

  2. Find the campaign you want to deploy, then click More > Deploy or Push as Template to open the Launch Campaign form.

  3. Turn on Assign Template Colors.

  4. From the dropdowns, select which of the template's detected colors should act as the Primary color and which should act as the Secondary color. The dropdowns list only the colors ServiceTitan detected in the template, so if a color you expect is missing, it is not in use anywhere in the design. The system determines the email background color automatically.

Note: Check your color assignments before you deploy. Open the campaign preview, then select a tenant from the tenant dropdown. The preview re-renders in that tenant's saved email colors. Switch tenants in the dropdown to compare brands and confirm each one looks the way you expect.

  5. Continue setting up the deployment as usual — choosing tenants or groups, setting the launch date, and generating tracking numbers.

  6. Click Confirm to launch.

Each tenant receives the campaign with its own saved email colors substituted for the primary and secondary roles you assigned.
