You want to add a task or tag to a job when a specific task is included in a sold estimate. This helps track jobs with particular tasks more easily.

Solution

Follow the steps below to solve the issue.

Add a tag to the service

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Pricebook.

  2. Find the service you want to modify.

  3. Click More and select View/Edit Service.

  4. In the service edit screen, go to the Workflow tab.

  5. Look for the Tags section in the Workflow tab.

  6. Find the tag you want to add automatically.

  7. Check the box next to the tag you want to add. 

  8. Save your changes.

  9. Test the automation by adding the service to a job.

  10. Verify that the tag appears on the job when the service is added.
