Overview
The Daily Payroll Productivity Report helps you identify whether your company is making or losing money on a daily basis. The Total Payroll Productivity Report helps you identify the same thing over a larger time period, such as weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, year over year, and more.
To have the KPIs calculate properly on each report, ensure the Setup sections are completed.

Feature configuration
Account configuration is required to use this feature. Please contact Technical Support for details.
Set up Salary Daily Wage
First, create a new custom field.
Go to Settings
in the top toolbar. In the side panel, go to Operations > Custom Fields.
Click Add to add a new custom field.
Fill out the following:
In the Name field, enter Salaried Hourly Rate.
Under Where It Appears, select the Employee Settings Page and Technician Settings Page.

In the Type dropdown, select Text.
When finished, click Save.
Then, update the new custom field to your employee profiles. You need to update this for every office employee and technician you want to appear on the report card.
Note: Since this is sensitive payroll information, make sure that only the proper employees have access to this information. You can remove the Edit employee/technician permission from the employees or roles who should not have access to payroll information. See Set permissions for an individual employee or technician or Set permissions for an employee or technician role for more.
Go to Settings
in the top toolbar. In the side panel, go to People > Employees or People > Technicians.
Click Edit next to the profile you want to update.
Enter the employee’s salaried hourly rate in the new Salaried Hourly Rate custom field.
When finished, click Save Changes.

Set up Commission/Spiffs
Any performance pay, such as commissions or bonuses, must be recorded in each account. Many of these processes can be automated through performance pay settings, but anything that can’t be automated must be added as a payroll adjustment. See the following for more information:
Set up Revenue Generated
If a job spans multiple days, the revenue must be split between the number of days worked on the job. You can use appointments to recognize revenue for each day worked on a job.
Set up Field and Office Split
When an employee works both as an office employee and a technician, the office employee profile needs to have an indicator to distinguish between the profiles so that their earnings are allocated correctly to each profile. We recommend adding - Office to the office employee profile.
For example, John Smith has both an office employee and technician profile for your company. On the office employee profile, change the Name field to display John Smith - Office. This allows you to clearly identify which profile is their technician profile and which is their office profile.
Set up report permissions
For custom reports created by ServiceTitan, you must grant access to the custom report template. For the Payroll Productivity reports, make sure you allow view and edit access for the following report templates:
Daily Payroll Productivity Report
Total Payroll Productivity Report

See Set reporting permissions for more.
