Overview
ServiceTitan integrates with Service Finance Company, a nationally licensed sales finance company and an approved FHA Title I lender, allowing your technicians to offer Financing in ServiceTitan Mobile. This gives your customers additional payment options to pay for your services.
You can set up rule-based financing for your Service Finance integration. Rule-based financing boosts technician confidence by removing the need to memorize complex financing rules. Increased technician confidence—combined with customizable monthly Payments—helps your team to close more sales and drive higher average ticket sizes. It also protects your margins by setting Business Unit and spending thresholds so technicians only offer premium plans when appropriate. In a nutshell, it empowers technicians to show the best plans for the right Job!

Account configuration is required to use this feature. To configure your account, please email the ServiceTitan Financing team at fintechsetup@servicetitan.com.
Set up your Service Finance accounts
Go to the navigation bar and click Settings
.In the side panel, click Integrations > Financing.
Under Providers, find Service Finance and click Configure.

Click Get Started to open the Configure financing accounts wizard.

Set up default accounts — enter a Merchant ID and a Name (the user-facing name for that merchant ID).
This becomes your default account, and automatically applies to any business unit without a custom assignment.
Then click Next.

Set up accounts for specific business units (optional) — configure custom account groups for specific business units.
If you add an account here, you must also create a custom rule for it, or the system will apply the default rule to those units instead.
If you want the default rule to apply to specific business units, click + Add Account, use the drop-down to select the business unit(s), fill in the Merchant ID and Name.
Then click Next.

If you don't need business-unit-specific accounts, click Skip.

Exclude business units — choose any business units that should not use this provider at all (shown afterward as "Excluded Business Units").
Click Next. If you would like to skip this step, click Skip.

Review — confirm your account setup and click Save.

The Service Finance page
Clicking Save takes you to the Service Finance page, with an Edit button (top right) to reopen the accounts wizard any time. This page has two sections:
Accounts — Configure financing options for eligible business units.
Lists each account you set up (for example, Default / 10001).
Rules — The Default Rule covers unassigned units; use custom rules to override defaults or target specific merchant ID groups.
Until you create your first rule, this section shows an empty state: a Create Financing Rules panel (Create rules for your financing plans, including setting tiers for jobs with specific spend limits. Begin by creating a default rule for all eligible jobs) with a Create Default Rule button.
An Add Rule button (top right, disabled until a default rule exists) is also present.

Once you've created a rule, the Rules section instead shows a table with columns Rule, Business Units, Plans, Products, and Edited. Separately, back on the main Financing settings page (click < Back to Financing from the Service Finance page), each provider shows a summary card with its logo, when it was last edited, and your account setup choices in two columns:
Account Configuration — toggles including Lead with monthly payment, Using spending tiers, and Apply in Customer Portal (each shown as on/off).
Excluded Business Units — the business units you excluded, or "None."
Click Edit to view the accounts and rules screen.

Create your default financing rule
The Rules section is where you create a rule for each account. The Default Rule covers business units not assigned to any other account ("Unassigned"); a business-unit-specific account gets its own separate rule to cover just those business units.
On the Service Finance page, in the Rules section, click Create Default Rule.

This opens the rule wizard.
Improvement Types — Please select up to 7 improvement types. These will be displayed to your customers when they are applying for financing.
Click + on up to 7 categories from the grid (for example, HVAC Equipment, HVAC-Plumbing Equipment, Basement Systems, Flooring) to select them — each selected type turns blue with an X to remove it. A counter at the bottom left shows how many you've selected.
Click Next.

Plans — under Select Rule Set Up, choose Use multiple spending tiers (Recommended — "Offer different plans for jobs with different proposal prices") or Do not use spending tiers ("Offer the same plans for all jobs, regardless of proposal price").
Under Select Plans — Add financing plans to spending tiers. For every eligible job, customers will be offered the plans within the tier that corresponds with the cost of their job Estimate:
For Tier 1, enter the Total Spend range (for example, $0 to $4,000).
Under Plans, click + Add Plans to select a primary plan for this tier ("Select a primary plan that will be used to calculate monthly costs when presenting estimates to customers").
Click + Add Tier to add another spend range and repeat, or use Delete Tier to remove one (disabled if it's your only tier).
Note: Instead of building tiers manually, you can click Try the Plan Optimizer (top right) to let an AI-assisted tool recommend tiers and plans for you based on a strategy you choose (Conservative, Balanced, or Aggressive) — see View or edit a Service Finance default rule for what that looks like once a rule exists.

Click Save to finish.
The rule now appears as a row in the Rules table.
